Ø at this time Oracle9iAS infrastructure installation is successful, do not exit the program at this time, click the "Next Install" button, continue to install Oracle9iAS, the "File location" screen:



Under the interface, the target name is changed to: "Ora9ias", and the target path is changed to "D:\ora9ias".





Ø Click the Next button and the installer loads the product information:



Ø the installer will enter the "available products" screen after loading is complete:



Ø the user chooses to install the product is: Oracle9i application Server 9.0.2.0.0, click Next button, Setup enters "Install type" screen, the user should choose "C. Business Intelligence and Fo RMS (1.66GB) ":



Note: Do not exit setup at this time, and do not click the Next button.

Ø in Win2000 Advanced server operating system, select: Start Settings Control Panel, select "Services" in "Administrative Tools", double-click Startup, and the following screen appears:



1, the above "name" column elongated, in order to fully display the service name, easy to find;

2, find the Oracleora9ias_isemwebsite service (the status is started), click the button on the toolbar to stop the service;

3, stop the service will require users to enter the password, where the user installed Ora9ias infrastructure fill in the Ias_admin password, this article is: Ora9ias



4, click the "OK" button and confirm that the service has been stopped.









Ø back to Oracle9iAS "installation Type" screen, click "Next" button, Setup set the installation type and collect installation information:



Note: If you do not stop the Emwebsite service to perform this step, will pop up the following screen prompts the error, click the "OK" button, and the previous step to stop the service and then try again.







Ø the Setup program appears in the Component Configuration screen, and the user confirms that all components are selected:



Ø Click the Next button and Setup continues to collect the information until the "existing Oracle9iAS single Sign-on" screen prompts the user for "host name":

User fills in the "hostname" section: xxzx_appsrv.xxzx.local

The port is 7777 unchanged.

(The host name can be viewed at the start of the operating system-settings-control Panel-system's Network Identification tab, you must have a domain server installed and configured)



Ø Click the Next button and Setup continues to configure the information until the Oracle Internet Directory screen appears. "username" remains unchanged; "Password" Enter the password that the user fills in when installing Ora9ias infrastructure, in this article: Ora9ias



Ø Click "Next" button, Setup appears "Create routine name" screen:

User fills in "routine name": Ora9ias

Password to enter the password for the ias_admin that the user fills in when installing Ora9ias infrastructure, in this article: Ora9ias



Ø Click the Next button and Setup continues to collect information until the "provide outgoing mail server information" screen appears without filling in any information:



Ø Click "Next" button, the installer continues to collect information, the progress bar reaches 100%, the "Summary" screen automatically appears, users can browse the components to be installed:







Ø Click the "Install" button, the installer begins to copy the file, the time is longer, please wait patiently:



Note: When the progress bar reaches 100%, the installation is not finished, may still be copying files, you can not click the "Next" button, please be patient, the installation will automatically proceed to the next step.

Ø the user will be prompted to insert the disc marked as DISK2,DISK3 during the installation, and follow the instructions.

Ø after the copy file completes, the Setup program automatically enters the Configuration tool screen:





Attention:

1, drag the upper part of the scroll bar to see the tool startup, if not necessary, do not click the "Retry" or "Stop" button.

2, the Configuration Tool time is also longer, please wait patiently.

3, after the configuration tool is completed, if some tools could not be configured successfully, their status will appear as "failed", you can click the "Retry" button, if not successful, the installation environment of the tool is incorrect, please check the system configuration after uninstalling the installed components and then reinstall, preferably contact professionals for guidance.

4, here may be "Configuration Assistant" tool configuration failed, try again.

Ø after all tools have been successfully configured and started, the installer automatically enters the "Installation End" screen:



Ø at this time Oracle9iAS installation is successful, click the "Exit" button, display confirmation dialog box:
