The three companies announced on Thursday that they will invest $30 million in a joint plan for independent software developers in Southeast Asia. They said that these investments, including product and service sponsorship, will reduce independent software developers to ensure that their products can be on Oracle's software platform, and the cost and time required for sun to run on AMD chip-based hardware platforms
Oracle, AMD, and sun will hold a series of technical seminars in countries participating in their program, including Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, we hope that more independent software developers can support their products. During the seminar, the three major companies will provide free software, servers, workstations and technical support, it helps independent software developers to ensure the compatibility of their application software with the software products running on Red Hat's Linux server operating system.
The three companies said that successful independent software developers will enjoy marketing assistance, such as participating in joint exhibitions in the region, and adding equal content to the product catalog.
