Oracle & endeca

After a rough study of endeca over the past two days, I feel that this product is quite good, and some are similar to the qlikview I have seen before. In other words, you can directly remove BI Publisher from non-dimensional and unstructured queries and reports. Industry analysts have a positive attitude towards this acquisition. Forrester even said that this acquisition allowed Oracle to surpass IBM and sap. The following question is how Oracle locates endeca and how to integrate it into existing product lines.

Technically, endeca Studio Server can be deployed to Tomcat, webshpere, and weblogic. However, the endeca Server is a system process and it is not a problem to use OPMN for management. The biggest challenge should be how to integrate with biee. biee and the latest EPM use the ADF-style interface, while endeca uses liferay, and whether the interface needs to be re-fixed is a question. In any case, Oracle does not expect a clear roadmap in the short term.
