Oracle cold Backup Recovery Process memo
I. Fault approaching
At noon one day, the mains supply was accidentally interrupted, and the UPS Power Supply in the IDC did not take over the power supply due to heavy load. All servers were restarted ......
When all the servers are restarted and the devices and services are being checked one by one, an accident occurs. A long-standing hp pc Server cannot be started, and the host engineer confirms that the main board is faulty. What's terrible is that this Server runs an important business database. You know, the backup of this database is only the dump file generated by using exp every morning ...... fortunately, all the files in the database are stored in the array and can be accessed through another server, so that data can be restored through cold backup. It is imperative that the phone number of the production department has been called. Please start to restore it !!!
Ii. Procedure
(1) copy the following files in the array. (It's time to test disk and network speed)
- Data Files
- Control File
- Redo log files
- Parameter file
- Tnsnames. ora
(2) install the Oracle software (only install software without installing an instance), install the 9206 patch, and pay attention to the ORACLE_HOME path selection during the patch installation process, it must be in the same directory as Oracle.
(3) copy the files listed in step (1) to the disk of the new database. The directory location is the same as that of the old database. Note: It is best not to change the file storage path. If the directory is changed, you need to modify the parameter file and control file again. Don't bother yourself.
(4) oradim command to create a service
1 |
oradim - new -sid xxx -intpwd xxx -startmode a -pfile E:\xxx\xxx\xxx\init.ora |
(5) use the net configuration assintant tool to create a listener
(6) Open the database
1234 |
set oracle_sid=xxx sqlplus "/as sysdba" startup select open_mode from v$database; |
