Oracle Control File Corruption

This means that the system cannot log on, and no user can log on. If you suspect that the database is faulty, you can log on to the server and run sqlplus username/password. If you do not enter the database, you are prompted to enter the username.

Restart the database and report that the control file control01.ctl is incorrect. Because the Oracle control files are all mirrored, first try copying control03.ctl to overwrite control01.ctl, and the system will prompt that it cannot be overwritten.

Run sqlplus/as sysdba to enter the database, shutdown immediate to close the database, and rename control01.ctl to control01.ctl. bak, copy control03.ctl to control01.ctl, start the database (command is startup), OK.
