3. Install 1.run setup.exe. The "10 Gb Oracle database installation" image shown in Figure 1 is displayed.

Select "Advanced installation" to set different passwords for sys and system and perform selective configuration.2. Click "Next" to go to "Oracle universalinstaller: Specify the file location"

Set the source "path", "name", and target "path ".

"Name" corresponds to the oracle_home_name environment variable

The path corresponds to the ORACLE_HOME environment variable.

3. Click "Next" to go to "Oracle universalinstaller: select the installation type"4. Keep the default value. Next, go to "Oracle universal Installer: select database configuration", as shown in Figure 5.

5. Keep the default value. Next, go to "Oracle universal Installer: Specify Database Configuration Options", as shown in figure 6.

Specify "Global Database Name" and "Sid". The two parameters are generally the same, for example, snapshot T.

You can also set "Global Database Name" to a domain name. Example: mongot.abc.com

If you select "create database with Sample Scheme", oui will create HR, Oe, sh, and Other Sample Scheme (sample schema) in the database)

6. Next, go to "Oracle universal Installer: select database management option", as shown in figure 7. 7. Keep the default value. Next, go to "Oracle universal Installer: Specify database file storage options", as shown in figure 8.

8. Keep the default value. Next, go to "Oracle universal Installer: Specify backup and recovery options", as shown in figure 9.

9. Keep the default value and click "Next" to go to "Oracle universal Installer: password of the database solution", as shown in 10. 10. Click "Next" to continue the installation and go to "Oracle universal Installer: Summary", as shown in 11.

11. Click "Install" to start the installation process, which takes about half an hour.

12. The "Database Configuration assistant" window is displayed when the database is created, as shown in Figure 12.

13. click password management to enter the password management window, as shown in Figure 13. unlock user HR, OE and Scott, enter the password for HR and Oe, and Scott's default password is Tiger. 15. Click OK to return to the "Database Configuration assistant" window. 16. Click "OK" in the window shown in Figure 15 to enter the "Oracle universal Installer: Installation Complete" window, as shown in figure 14.
