Oracle 11G RAC Database installation (eight)
Overview: write down the original intent and motivation of this document, derived from the Oracle Basic operating Manual of the previous article. The Oracle Basic Operations Manual is a summary of the author's vacation on Oracle's foundational knowledge learning. Then form a summary of the system, a review review, the other is easy to use. This document is also derived from this text. Before reading the Oracle RAC installation and use tutorial, I will first comb the whole idea and formation of this article. Due to the different levels of knowledge storage for readers, I will start with the preparation and planning of Oracle RAC before installing the deployment of Oracle RAC. Began with the guidance of Dr. Tang, the database cluster configuration installation, before and after 2, 3 months of groping. A lot of problems are encountered in the middle. This document will also be documented. This article original/finishing, reproduced please mark the original source:11G RAC Database Installation (eight)

Database installation
Following the Oracle cluster installation, the next and most important database installation, the entire database installation is not very difficult, the user logged in as an Oracle User RAC1 master node, the extracted files installed. After the main node is installed, all other nodes are installed automatically, the principle mechanism is SSH communication mechanism, so the early SSH configuration, each node automatic communication is very important. Fortunately, after 11G can be automatically completed SSH configuration, not pure script, only need to follow the steps to configure. Next, look at the overall database group architecture diagram. This article also applies to building Oracle databases for Linux environments. for database management see below for upload files before installation, unzip, etc. see above. another: Oracle RAC cluster Overall configuration is based on three steps (pre-configuration, cluster installation, database installation)
Log in to the RAC1 master node as an Oracle user and install the extracted files. ( only need to configure the primary node, child nodes via SSH communication, automatic configuration )
./runinstaller
Do not select the check box security updates checkbox, next.
Select "Create and configure a database" and the next step. ( choose to create databases and create data warehouses at the same time, with official recommendations )
Select "Server Class" and the next step. ( If you are simply Oracle under Linux, you can do it in a non-clustered environment )
Select all nodes, configure SSH, next. (SSH is responsible for inter-node communication, that is, to configure all child nodes of the master node to synchronize )
Select "Typical Install" and the next step. (This normal installation is also common, normal installation and advanced installation)
Enter "/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1" as the path. File Settings "/u01/oradata". Set the database user name, password. The database itself names "Rac.localdomain". ( address pre-programmed, especially novice to Linux unfamiliar, many paths difficult to manage )
Wait for installation, middle encounter problem ignore, next
See the following screen, select Done.
Wait for the installation.
Auto Popup Create Data Warehouse DBCA. ( This DBCA is the so-called narrow database, which can create table spaces, tables, views, etc. )
Complete the Data Warehouse installation, select OK, and continue with the installation.
Follow the prompts below, log in as root under all nodes, and execute the following two scripts for all nodes. ( This previous cluster configuration has an introduction, not detailed )
Select close to complete the installation.
The above for the entire database configuration, this article is relatively easy, including cluster installation is also. The key difficulty or the configuration of the pre-installation is more troublesome, more steps, focus cautious.
