Oracle numeric data types can store up to 38 bytes of precision. When Oracle numeric values are converted

When the database is of the Common Language Runtime data type, there may be too many digits behind the decimal point, which leads to this error.

Solution:

Use the round () function:

Example: select min (pval), max (pval), round (avg (pval), 5) from hvm_data_dga.

Round (avg (pval), 5) enables the number to be rounded to five places after the decimal point.

Select round (32/14, 3) from dual;

Output result: 2.286

Select round (32/14, 2) from dual;

Output result: 2.29
