Delete statement

Basic syntax:

Delete from table name where condition

Precautions:

1, if you do not use the WHERE clause, all data in the table is deleted

Delete from test;

2, if you want to delete the value of a column, delete is not possible

3, delete the entire table, drop table name

4, when using Delete, be sure to consider the referential integrity between tables

Case:

Delete a row of records

Delete from Stu where name= ' AAA ';

Delete all rows

Delete from Stu;

PS: Can be rolled back using rollback

Physical deletion

TRUNCATE TABLE Stu;

Note: Once the data in the TRUNCATE table is not recoverable, the deletion is fast and can be deleted using truncate when determining that the data in the table is really useless and the table is large.
