Oracle exception: ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Force disconnect-Solution

Problem:

SQL> connect sys/password @ RAOASYS as sysdba
Already connected to the idle routine.
SQL> startup
The ORACLE routine has been started.

Total System Global Area 109051904 bytes
Fixed Size 1295272 bytes
Variable Size 92277848 bytes
Database Buffers 8388608 bytes
Redo Buffers 7090176 bytes
The database has been loaded.
ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Force disconnect

Cause:

After upgrading from 10.2.1 to 10.2.4, no catupgrd. SQL and catalog. SQL are executed.

Solution:

1. Start the database with startup upgrade
2. Run the 'upgrade data dictionary 'script and the 'create data dictionary' script with sysdba.
