Control File Information:
The size of the control file is related to the settings when the database is created.
(1)Database creation time information
(2)Database Name, table space name
(3)Related data file, redo log file name, location, online status information
(4)Redo log archival information
(5)Sequence Number of the current redo log(Log sequence number).
(6)CheckpointInformation
(7)Undo the start and end information of a segment
(8)RMAN(Recovery Manager).
Query Control File Information
V $ controlfile
V $ controlfile_record_section
Information contained:
Desc v $ controlfile
Name status
StatusIf it is null, the control file is normal.
Select * from V $ controlfile
Select * from V $ controlfile_record_section (InMountWhen the status is queried, The nomount status only uses the initialization parameter file and does not use the control file.)
How to prepare sub-Control Files(The database must be closed.)
The control file must be backed up in multiple ways on different disks.
