Oracle TEMP table space consumes disk space

1. Create a new temporary tablespace Tmpa
   

Create temporary tablespace tempa tempfile '/oracle/tmp/tempa01.dbf ' SIZE 8192M reuse autoextend on NEXT 1024K MAXSIZE UNLIMITED;
2. Specify the default temporal tablespace as Tmpa

ALTER DATABASE default temporary tablespace Tempa;

3. Clear the original tablespace (note do not physically delete the tablespace file, if physically deleted, the file will appear to have been deleted, but will not free disk space, Lsof|grep deleted can see, because there are still processes in the occupied file)

Drop Tablespace temp including contents;
