13 appendix 1 Description: 1. In fact, the configuration for accessing DB2 is similar to the configuration of MSSQL, but the configuration for accessing DB2 requires access through the ODBC Data Source. Therefore, you need to configure the ODBC data source. 2. I will not go into details here, because I have also published a document titled "Oracle Gateway11g R2 accessing heterogeneous databases (MSSQL) configuration document", which will be detailed here. 3. Next, I will give a rough explanation of how to configure the ODBC Data Source. For other details, visit: Configure
Open "Control Panel" and find the following:
Double-click to open the system DSN ";
Note: we can see that there are only two data sources to create. This is because your machine is a 64-bit System and the software is a 32-bit software, therefore, the "Data Source" opened in "Control Panel \ All control panel items \ Management Tools" can only be 64-bit. Solution:
Double-click the odbcad32.exe Application
Let's compare whether there are many more data sources.
Find the data source template you want to configure and click "finish" to continue creating the data source.
Enter the data source name and click "add" to continue;
Select "TCP/IP" on the tab, configure the settings, and click "OK" to save the configuration;
The ODBC data source configuration is complete;
