Oracle installation and configuration process
I had to install oracle myself for the first time. I had no idea about oracle installation and configuration before, and finally finished it.
1. Install the oracle10g Server
2. Install the oracle10g client. The server and client do not have to be installed on the same machine.
3. Start NetConfiguration Assistant on the server and configure the listener.
4. Use the DatabaseConfiguration Assistant Wizard to create a database
5. Install PL/SQLDeveloper.
6. Configure the client's tnsnames. ora File
7. Open PL/SQLDeveloper and log on to the test.
The first three steps are easy to follow. Step 4: Create a database. If you do not have any special settings, follow the wizard prompts.
Step 5: I use the green version without installation. Some configuration is required here.
1. Open the program. If you do not log in, enter the program.
2. In the connection in tools-preference, configure oraclehome and OCI. The path is the instantclient path in the corresponding oracle client, such as "D: \ oracle \ product \ 10.2.0 \ client_1 \ instantclient ".
3. Modify the tnsnames. ora file under D: \ oracle \ product \ 10.2.0 \ client_1 \ NETWORK \ ADMIN on the oracle client, similar
ORCL =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS_LIST =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = 192.168.35.157) (PORT = 1521 ))
)
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SERVICE_NAME = orcl)
)
)
EXTPROC_CONNECTION_DATA =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS_LIST =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = IPC) (KEY = EXTPROC0 ))
)
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SID = PLSExtProc)
(PRESENTATION = RO)
)
)
Here, you only need to modify the red mark, namely the Database Service name and the oracle server host address.
1. Create a network \ admin folder under D: \ oracle \ product \ 10.2.0 \ client_1 \ instantclient \ and copy tnsnames. ora in the folder.
2. Open PL/SQLDeveloper again, select a database, and enter the user name and password to log on.
After entering, you can use the system user to create a user, tablespace or data table, and configure roles and permissions. Then you can use a custom user to log on and perform related operations.
The above steps are summarized after a while. If there are any omissions or errors in the specific process, please refer to other relevant materials.
How to enter scott during oracle installation and configuration
There are three conditions for using scott/tiger to log on to the ORACLE database:
1. Your database has been started. This is mainly because the ORACLE database service is not started in the service.
2. You chose to create a database when installing oracle.
3. Your listener is configured successfully. Generally, when you install oracle, you choose to create a database, which will automatically configure the listener for you.
Your current situation is: ORACLE initialization or shutdown in process
It indicates that your oracle is not started normally. Instead of using scott/tiger to log on.
You said: You can only Log On As SYSDBA. In fact, you later connected to sysdba and did not log on to the database.
In this case, you must first check whether the oracle Database Service has been started, then check whether the listening configuration is normal, and then check whether there are scott users. If none of the above checks are successful, check whether the PFILE file is damaged (check SPFILE in 10 Gb ).
In addition, group purchases on Virtual Machine groups are extremely cheap.
What can I configure after oracle is installed?
You need to configure a listener to listen to your database.
