Ii. Oracle Installation

 

1. Extract the file, select the two packages, and right-click the package to decompress the file.

 

2. decompress the two files to the same path.

 

 

3. Go to the corresponding decompression path and find the executable Installation File setup.exe and double-click the installation.

 

4. Installation Step 1: Configure Security Updates. In this step, you can enter your email address (or do not enter it, but only receive useless emails ). Cancel the following "I want to accept Security Update (W) through My Oracle Support )".

5. For security options, create and configure a database by default (after the database management software is installed, the system automatically creates a database instance ).

 

 

6. Select the default desktop class for the system class. (If the computer to be installed is a personal laptop or computer used by a personal computer, use this option ).

 

7. Typical installation. Important steps. We recommend that you only update the Oracle base directory. The directory path should not contain Chinese characters or other special characters. The global database name can be default, and the password must be kept in mind. A warning is prompted when the password is entered. If the password does not comply with the suggestion of cancel, skip this step. (Because the suggested password rules by El are troublesome, they must be uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and numbers, and must be more than 8 characters long. Troublesome. You can enter a short password that you normally use ).

 

 

The default account is orcl. Set the password by yourself.

8. If the entered password is short and simple, the following prompt will be displayed during installation. Directly confirm that Y continues the installation.

 

 

9. Prerequisite check. The installer checks whether the software and hardware systems meet the minimum requirements for installing this Oracle version. The next step is OK.

 

 

10. Brief some related selection configuration information before installation. You can simply save it as a file or click it without saving it.

 

 

11. Install the product automatically.

12. After the database management software file and dbms file are installed, a database with the default orcl name is automatically created and installed.

 

 

 

13. the instance database has been created. By default, all accounts are locked and unavailable (except sys and system accounts are available). We recommend that you click password management on the right, unlock a common scott account and enter the password.

 

 

14. Unlock scott's account, remove the green check box and enter the password. You can also enter a short password that is commonly used, so you do not have to add a number based on the 8-bit or more cases recommended by oracle. This is troublesome.

 

You can skip this step and use it later.

 

 

15. Similarly, if the password does not comply with the rules, a message is displayed. Skip it and continue with Y.

 

 

16. The installation is successful.

 

 

 

3. Install the oracle interface tool.
