Oracle mesh controller OMA installation and Configuration Guide

There are three ways to install the Oracle mesh control agent (OMA): OUI, silent, and agentDownload, this section describes how to install the gc agent using OUI. Before you start, configure OMS and OMR, and prepare for the installation of OMA. For more information, see the quick installation guide for oracle databases!

Environment Introduction:
OMS operating system version: 64-bit centos4.8
OMS version: 10.2.0.3
OMS Host Name: gc.yang.com
OMS address: 192.168.1.45/24

OMA operating system version: rhel5.4 64-bit
OMA version: 10.2.0.3
OMA Host Name: primary.yang.com
OMS address: 192.168.1.51/24

1. Start Installation
[Oracle @ primary Disk1] $./runInstaller

Select 4th items here to install the agent

If you install the package on rhel5, you will be prompted that the gnome-lib package is not installed!

Enter the OMS ip address, host name, and Port

Enter the OMS Server agent Registration Password

Run the script and click "OK ".

After the installation is complete, the agent is automatically started and OMS is detected and registered.
