Oracle net connections

1 local naming

Connection Method: CONNECT username/password @ SERVICE_NAME (which is commonly used)

Modify the tnsnames. ora file as follows:

Sales =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = tcp) (HOST = sales-server) (PORT = 1521 ))
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SERVICE_NAME = sales.us.acme.com )))

The sqlnet. ora file is as follows:

NAMES. DIRECTORY_PATH = (tnsnames, hostname)

2 directory naming

Create a directory, create alias of SERVICE_NAME, and then access it. The access method is similar to local naming.
CONNECT username/password @ SERVICE_NAME

3 easy connect naming

CONNECT username/password @ [//] host [: port] [/service_name]

The HOSTS file, TNSNAMES. ORA, and listener file need to be configured.
