I. Trajectory
Ii. Oracle Introduction
Oracle is now the world's largest database provider,Programming LanguageProvider and application software provider, which is equivalent to Microsoft.
Oracle is known as the oracle in ancient Greek mythology. It refers to the darling of God. In the period of business and week in China, some texts engraved on the shell are also referred to as the instructions of heaven, therefore, Oracle is translated as Oracle in China.
Oracle was the first to develop because of an IBM technician, Edgar Frank codd, in June 1970) A paper published on communications of ACM -- a relational model of data for large shared data banks. Later, this paper was published by the Oracle CEO: larry ellision discovered that he founded Oracle today.
From the left, Ed Oates, Bruce Scott, Bob miner, and Larry Ellison
Ellison's earliest workProgramThe person was born, but this person has not achieved any achievement until he is 30 years old, so his wife divorced him. Later, this person went through hard work, became the top 10 richest in the world's Fox rankings today. However, there was always one man on top of him, namely Bill Gates.
One of the founders of Oracle is Bruce Scott, who later left Oracle and started a pointbase company. pointbase is also a database, but the database shares are already small.
Databases can be divided into the following types:
- Large Databases: IBM DB2, Oracle, Sybase; -- massive data processing capabilities: DB2> Oracle> Sybase
- Medium-sized databases: SQL Server, MySQL, Informix, and PostgreSQL;
- Small databases: Access, Visual FoxPro, SQLite;
The main operating system of IBM is AIX, and the operating system used by Oracle is UNIX.
With the development of Oracle, many major versions are still in use and some new versions are available:
- Oracle 8/Oracle 8i: Where I represents the internet, which means that Oracle began to develop towards the network, but this version is a transitional version;
- Oracle 9i: the most widely used version. It can be said that it is an upgraded version of Oracle 8i;
- Oracle 10g: a transitional product, where G represents grid computing;
- Oracle 11G: it is an integrity product and a new version;
Iii. Oracle Database Installation
Before installing the Oracle database, we recommend that you make two preparations: Disable the firewall and disconnect the network;
Installer: e: \ oracle 10g \ install \ setup.exe
Installation path: C: \ oracle \ product \ 10.1.0 \ db_1
Select the installation type
Enter "David" as the database name and select "create database with sample solution.
If not selected, there will be no big data users in the future.
Select Database Management Options
Specify database file storage options
Backup and recovery options
At the end of installation, set all passwords to "oracleadmin" with all lowercase letters. Do not change the password without authorization.
Installation overview: Select "Install" to start the installation program, and then let it install it on your own. do not perform any operations.
Installing
After the installation is complete, the database is configured first, and then the "password management" interface is displayed.
To use the Oracle database, you must use the following four users:
- Super administrator: SYS/change_on_install;
- Common administrator: System/manager;
- Common users: Scott/tiger; --> locked by default
- Big Data Users: sh/SH; --> mainly for testing and usage;
After the installation is complete, select "exit.
After exiting, Oracle 10 Gb opens an OEM management interface by default.
After the installation is complete, several services are automatically registered for the user in Windows:
Many of these services are started by default, which may slow the system startup speed. Therefore, we recommend that you change them to the manual startup mode.
Among these services, the following two services are the most important:
- Listening service: oracleoradb10g_home1tnslistener
In the future, if a program wants to operate the database, or some remote clients want to connect to the database, some services must be started;
- Database instance service: oracleservicedavid
A service that stores the specific information of a database. Each database has a database instance (service );
Naming rules: oracleservicexxx, where XXX is the name of the configured database (strictly speaking, it is the SID Name );
