Oracle officially released VirtualBox 5.0.22
Oracle officially released VirtualBox 5.0.22. The latest maintenance version of this open-source and cross-platform virtualization software is open to all supported platforms, many new features and functions are introduced to recommend users to complete the upgrade as soon as possible. The new version introduces support for the upcoming Linux 4.7 kernel in Linux Additions, and also supports the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.8 system.
In fact, in VirtualBox 5.0.22, Linux Additions has brought about a series of improvements, such as better compatibility with some 32-bit guests and patches for fixing X.org crash after hard guest resetting, improve Compatibility between the old X.org version and the slave Linux 3.11 series.
In addition, VirtualBox 5.0.22 also introduced support for X.org server 1.18 display servers to Solaris Additions to better support a variety of Intel Atom hosts, the new I/O-APIC deployment commitment to improve the overall performance of the software.
