Oracle ORA-01045 error Solution

Problem:

"Ora-01045: user system lacks create session privilege; logon denied" appears when you log on with PL/SQL ".

Cause: the user has no permission to create a session.

It means that the username and password with which you tried to login are known and accepted by the Oracle server, but that the username doesn't have permission to create a session. if you think this username shoshould have permission to create sessions send mail to acisdba.

After logging on as a system user, use the following SQL statement to grant permissions to the error User:

Grant create session to UserName; (UserName is the UserName with a logon error)
