ORACLE: Preparations for installing cluster components in Oracle 10 RAC

1. Same windows version
2. The same Windows login user and password (because Oracle uses Management Sharing to install remote node content)
3. Physical memory> 512 MB; Virtual Memory> 512 MB. For Oracle, essentially interactive space (physical memory + virtual memory)> 1 GB
4. Shared storage
5. Shared storage must be in MBR partition format
6. Shared storage must create logical partitions, and cannot be formatted or partitioned.
7. Windows disk management must support automount (remember to restart Windows after modifying the configuration)
8. Same public network connection name \ private network connection name
9. The binding order of the public network is the first
10. The Virtual Private IP address must be in the same CIDR block as the public IP address.
11. The default route must be set in the IP Address Configuration of the public network !!!
12. If you do not have a DSN server, you can use the hosts file to resolve the name resolution problem.
