Delete an instance

#1. Close the database sql> shutdown abort, #2. Delete instance data files and dump files [[email protected] ~] $find $ORACLE _base/-name $ORACLE _sid  -exec RMDIR-RF * {} \; [[Email protected] ~] $find $ORACLE _base/-name $ORACLE _sid  -exec rm-rf * {} \; #3. Delete other profiles [[email protected] ~] $find $ oracle_base/*-name ' *[bb][tt][ss][dd][bb]2* ' | Grep-v admin| Grep-v  oradata; #4. Delete the last line of the/etc/oratab file

Create an instance

[Email protected] ~]$ DBCA-SILENT-RESPONSEFILE/HOME/ORACLE/RESPONSE/DBCA.RSP
