The SELECT statement in Oracle can implement a recursive query using the start With...connect by prior clause, which is used in structured queries.

The basic syntax is:

Select ... from <TableName>
where <Conditional-1>
Start with <Conditional-2>
Connect by <Conditional-3>;

<conditional-1>: Filter condition for filtering all records returned;
<conditional-2>: The limited condition of the root node of the query result;
<conditional-3>: Connection conditions;
