Oracle table update data

If data in one table needs to be updated using another table, it is updated when it exists. If it does not exist, it is inserted. The merge command is provided after Oracle10g. You can use this statement to complete related operations.

Syntax:

Merge into target_table t
Using org_table o
On (T. ID = O. ID)
When matched then
Update
Set

When not matched then
Insert (col1, col2,...) values (V1, v2 .....)

Target_table indicates the table to be updated; org_table indicates the table that provides the data source.
