Oracle 12c Installer Setup has wrong value in file Install/oraparam.ini for Msvcredist_loc

From Oraparam.ini

#MSVCREDIST_LOC Flag would provide the name of the EXE that's being shipped in Stage/ext/bin

oracle 12C-bit client Installer should install the RTL automatically during the in Stallation. However the Oraparam.ini have wrong value for Msvcredist_loc (Instead of Vcredist_x86.exe) so installer fails to install RTL That's reason for installation the configuation assitant to fail.

follow the below instructions to resolve the issue.

1. Install Microsoft C + + redistributable ( Vcredist_x86.exe) from the Installer location X:\client32\stage\ext\bin

The first thing to do is to go to the Software Catalog: \client32\stage\ext\bin installed Vcredist_x86.exe this first.

2. Now click on retry

The re-installation is perfect.

Note:for avoiding the issue during the installation, edit the value for Msvcredist_loc=vcredist_x86.exe in Ora Param.ini You can also edit Msvcredist_loc=vcredist_x86.exe directly to avoid this.
