First, you must mount all the above three image files to drivers.

Start the Oracle 9i Installation File, starting with the ora9i-1.iso ,:

Select Start installation to go to the installation welcome page ,:

Click "Next" to go to the "file positioning" selection window:

There is nothing to say about "Source", that is, the location of the Installation File. "target" can select the name and path based on your actual situation. The above is my choice. Click "Next ", go to the "available products" option page and select the product to be installed:

Click "Next" and select "installation type ":

There are four options, the first three are three versions, and the last one is "Custom". Select the installation as needed, and click "Next" to configure the database ":

Click "Next" and fill in "Database ID ":

Enter a "global database name", in which the SID is automatically assigned. Of course, you can also set the SID as needed, click "Next", and configure "database file location ":

Select the database file storage location, click "Next", and set "database character set ":

Select the database character set, I select the UTF-8, click Next to view the configuration summary ":

Click "Install" to install it ,:

Then, the installation process takes a long time. Please wait patiently ......

I waited about 45 minutes before the installation was completed. Go to "configuration tool ":

This is optional.

Then, the "Database Configuration assistant" is automatically called to copy the database.

Here, I directly stopped the "Database Configuration assistant" to complete the installation:

The database server has been installed.

You can continue to install the client.

Installation is complete.

Note: After installing oracle, the jdk version of oracle is 1.3, which is too low. Remember to delete the jdk1.3 path from the environment variable.
