Oracle's edit command and Oracleedit command

Use the edit command to copy the content in the SQL * plus buffer to an afiedt. buf file, and then start the default editor in the operating system to open this file, and the file content can be edited. In Windows, the default editor is notepad ).

Syntax:

Edit [file_name]

File_name is afied. buf by default, and other files can be specified.

For example, there is a query. SQL file in my e disk. The file content is

In the SQL * plus window, enter the following:

Enter a select statement and run the edit command directly,

The afiedt .. buf window is displayed. You can edit it here.
