Table 3-9 lists these operators and their descriptions.

As you can see, these operators also include VAR1 in the calculation process, the following code:
Var1 + = var2;
The result is the same as the following code.
var1 = var1 + var2;

Note: the + = operator can also be used for strings, as with the + operator.

Using these operators, especially when using long variable names, makes your code easier to read.
