After the qtp 2003 software is re-installed in the windows 10.0 virtual machine using a simple operating system environment, it is found that the information such as forms and buttons can be recorded in the browser object, you can also go to <automation-record and run settings...> in this recording option, you can see the desired Web tab, for example:

In fact, by studying the software installed in front of you and the software installed in the new virtual machine, it is found that this option is not because the plug-in is not installed, but when the qtp software is started, this plug-in is not loaded, the reason is that there is a setting in qtp <tools-options...> as follows:

This check box determines whether the plug-in selection dialog box shown in the following figure is displayed when the qtp software is started. Therefore, the Web plug-in described first cannot be selected:

Recall that when I first used the qtp tool, I removed the √ in the check box before "show on startup", which eventually caused the qtp software to run, by default, you may not load any required add-on.
