Project Overview

In the entire logistics distribution center, the plan is a nerve hub that controls almost all business activities of the entire logistics system's core departments, such as procurement, production, warehousing, and stores. Therefore, the accuracy of the procurement plan and production plan is of vital significance to the entire distribution center. Inaccurate plans may result in: Inventory squeeze, product decay, and decommission; out-of-stock stores, customer complaints, urgent procurement, increased procurement costs, high inventory costs, and a large inventory profit, increased labor intensity and reduced employee satisfaction;

The premise of an accurate plan is that there must be accurate inventory. Due to the temporary replenishment, goods adjustment and reduction of the store, goods can be obtained at any time during production, natural loss of dishes, and employee's work mistakes; temporary price adjustment for procurement; and other reasons may cause problems in our receiving, sending, and storing business, and eventually cause inconsistency of our accounts, cards, and things;

We hope to achieve the following through this project:
  • Optimize and improve the existing paper inventory card loading and unloading methods, improve the efficiency of staff card loading and unloading, improve efficiency 6-7 times;
  • Using workbooks, the system automatically calculates the inventory, eliminating the error of manually adding or subtracting the inventory from the database management, and completely eliminating it;
  • Through the automatic comparison between the inventory management adjusted store order and the store order adjusted by the account, it is found that, even if the account is used to find the cause, the system effectively avoids incorrect changes to the number of stores that require goods due to misoperations;
  • By means of a list of differences between the electronic inventory card and the SAP system inventory card every day, the system promptly helps the database management and account to find the cause of the difference, and even if the problem is rectified; effectively ensures the consistency of the card account
  • The system automatically generates the top 10 most frequently imported products, or the top 10 most frequently imported products, or the top 10 products with the largest number of warehouse receiving and warehouse picking and randomly generated 10 products are used to generate inventory card spot check lists from time to time.   • The paper inventory card cannot be used for data sharing. Due to the limitation of the office environment, the finance or plan of the new factory can only be viewed in the on-site warehouse if you want to view the inventory of the old factory.
  • The paper inventory card is not convenient for Financial reconciliation. When a half-month or monthly disk finds a difference, you can only look through the historical documents for search, and it is time-consuming and laborious to query.
  • Improper storage of paper inventory cards can easily be lost or damaged, leading to loss of important data

     

Solution

By adjusting the paper inventory card to an electronic inventory card, it is equivalent to establishing a self-use inventory management system for the database management, which is different from the SAP system;

  • How can we improve the efficiency and accuracy of stock card loading and unloading?

Solution:

A) For store goods that have the largest workload of on-premise and off-board cards, the Warehouse Management should directly modify the items whose actual delivery quantity is different from the number of goods required by the store on the basis of the original electronic order, if there is no difference, you do not need to handle it. For example, if the white radish Zhengzhou stores require goods of 45 kg, the database management actually delivers 47 kg, the Zhengzhou 3 stores require goods of 30 kg, and the database management actually delivers 30 kg, the database management only needs to change the 45kg of the Zhengzhou 1 store to 47 kg, zhengzhou 3 stores do not need to be modified because they are the same;

 

B) For warehouse receiving and internal collection of some data, the Warehouse Management should input the mnemonic code of a single item to quickly enter the data. Saves you the trouble of viewing the inventory card directory by hand turning to the corresponding page. For example, if the size of the white radish is 400 kg in the database, you only need to enter BLB on the corresponding page, and then the white radish specifications and units are associated with each other, and then enter the quantity.
