4. Network card:

1.uefi:uefi BOOT. See Wiki encyclopedia for specific definitions. The new machine now supports this type of boot.
2.BIOS: Traditional BIOS boot (Legacy BIOS)
This can be set from the BIOS, if your machine does not support UEFI boot, you will not be able to see it in the BIOS.
2. Second, there are two main types of guidance tools:
1. Chameleon Chameleon has a long history, but functionally less than clover, suitable for BIOS startup and has a long black Apple toss experience of friends.

Disadvantage: The RECOVERYHD recovery partition is not automatically generated after installation and is not suitable for patients with severe obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Disadvantage: You cannot modify the contents of the installation disk, only the hard disk installed on the GPT partition table is supported

(3) Integrated version:
Integration of a lot of drivers, but also good.
Additional notes:
(1) Although it is said that the original can not modify the installation disk, but encountered a lot of mainstream-V errors, are able to use clover to solve.
(2) What I said before about the installation process speed problem:
The original image installation can be roughly divided into two installation phases:
First stage: Mount and Boot from BASESYSTEM.DMG, guide you to select the target disk, then the installer will verify the INSTALLESD.DMG, which is time consuming.
Second stage: Start again, start the installation.
And the lazy version of the installation equivalent to skip the first step of the INSTALLESD.DMG, direct boot into the second step of installation.
So in terms of time, the lazy version of the installation will be faster. Of course SSD I will not say anything, the first step does not take much time.
4. Boot + image collocation scheme:
BIOS + MBR: Chameleon + Lazy man Edition
UEFI + Gpt:clover + original or Clover + lazy version (the latter is suitable for friends who need to modify the installation disk)
BIOS + gpt:clover/Chameleon + lazy version or original
UEFI + MBR: Turn into GPT or Clover + lazy version or change to BIOS boot
(If you install the setback through a chameleon method and your machine supports UEFI, then I strongly recommend you use the clover+ original)

1. Some common "terms":
Kext: Full name Kernel Extensions is what we often call "drive"
Sle:/system/library/extensions
Ee:/extra/extensions (This is unique to the chameleon, used to put in other third-party drivers, Clover does not recognize this folder, that is, there is no "Extra" concept)
Boot.plist/Chameleon Configuration File/Chameleon's Plist:org.chameleon.Boot.plist
kexts/10.9:/efi/clover/kexts/10.9 (This is Clover's third-party driver directory, Clover identify this-->10.9/10.8, which is based on the system version, in the sense that corresponds to the Chameleon's e/e)
Boot with injected kexts or boot without caches, etc.: these are non-default options for Clover startup, and after selecting the target boot disk in the boot interface, the space will be visible.

3. Some super common V-card deaths/five countries

Workaround:
A. Make sure your BIOS is set to SATA mode: AHCI (RAID may not have to be disassembled)

Questions about deleting drivers:
