This article mainly introduces the self-organizing network routing protocols used in the self-group network. This article gives some specific instructions on these protocols, I believe that reading this article will help you.

The cluster head gateway switch routing (CGSR) protocol is designed based on the DSDV protocol and the hierarchical routing mechanism. CGSR uses the least clusterchange (LOC) algorithm to form a hierarchical structure. To avoid frequent replacement of cluster head nodes and ensure the stability of the cluster head node identity, LOC stipulates that only two cluster head nodes are close to each other, or if a node leaves the communication range of all cluster header nodes, the ID of the cluster header node changes. When the hierarchical structure is damaged due to node movement, CGSR uses the hierarchical Maintenance Algorithm to reconstruct the hierarchical structure. In this process, some nodes will be transferred from the current classification to the neighbor classification. To minimize the number of transfer nodes, it retains the nodes with the maximum number of neighbors and their neighbors in the current classification.

Core extractIon distributed Ad Hoc routing (CEDAR) is designed to build a stable virtual core structure in the Self-networking environment for reliable and effective route information dissemination. It uses the MCDS approximation algorithm to divide the network into different domains. Each domain contains only one primary domain node belonging to the MCDS. Other nodes are neighbor nodes of the primary domain node and are not in the MCDS. The master domain node collects network route information and spreads it in MCDS to calculate the shortest route between nodes. The advantage of MCDS is that when the link between nodes in the non-primary domain fails, MCDS can act as a route entry immediately. In addition, MCDS supports broadcast and multicast functions. The disadvantage is that as the network scale increases, the Protocol overhead caused by route update increases sharply and the scalability is poor.

Many routing protocols have been proposed for Mobile Self-Organizing Network multicast, including on-demand multicast Routing (on-demand multicast routmg protocol, ODMRP) based on the Mesh forwarding structure ), multicast Routing Protocol (multicast Ad Hoc on-demand clistance vector routmg, mamg) based on the on-demand Distance vector of the tree-based forwarding structure. The protocol without a forwarding structure uses the source route or the pan-flood forwarding data, and does not maintain the Multicast Route status, which reduces the Protocol calculation. However, because the pan-flood mode is used, it is usually used in small-scale networks; the tree-like forwarding structure is used for the Protocol. from any source node to a receiving node, there is only one path. This reduces bandwidth consumption and improves forwarding efficiency. The Mesh structure is used for forwarding multicast data packets, it can improve the robustness of the forwarding structure in the dynamic network. There are group paths between the source node and the receiving node. These redundant paths improve the reliability of multicast data transmission, the cost is that data is forwarded one by one path, which wastes network bandwidth and consumes node energy.

There are currently a variety of mobile self-organizing network protocols. They all have their own characteristics and strengths for different environmental characteristics, and none of them is the best in any scenario. Table describes in detail the time, communication, storage, and implementation mechanisms of some self-organizing network routing protocols.
