In 1929, three years after he flight over the North Pole, the American explore, R.E. Byrd, successfully flew over the Sou Th Pole for the first time. Though, at first, Byrd and he were able to take a great many photographs of the mountains that lay below, they soon r An into serious trouble. At one point, it seemed certain that their plane would crash. It could only get over the mountains if it rose to feet. Byrd at once ordered he men to throw out both heavy food sacks. The plan was then able to rise and it cleared the mountains by the feet. Byrd now knew is would be able to reach the South Pole which is miles away, for there were no more mountains in Sight. The aircraft was able-fly over the endless white Plains without difficulty.

In 1929, three years after he flew over the Arctic, an American explorer, R.E Potter, successfully flew over Antarctica for the first time. Despite the advance,R.E Porter and his team had a lot of photos of the Antarctic icebergs along the road, and they soon got into trouble. At one point, they seemed to think their plane was going to crash. They had to rise above 10,000 feet to fly over the icebergs. R.E Porter began to command his team to throw away two heavy food bags. So the plane began to rise over the iceberg just 400 feet from the top of the mountain. After flying over the iceberg,R.E Potter knew that it was 300 miles from Antarctica and there was no more icebergs in front of the field. The plane is no longer difficult to fly in the vast white world.
