Overview

Introduced

Phoenix is a micro-kernel design and implementation on the Avalon Framework. It provides tools to manage the server application environment. These tools include log management, class loading (classloading), thread management, and security. Later versions of it will have conditional support for additional tools, such as central service management, service pools, and other tools that shorten the Time-to-market for product entry. The Phoenix API defines standard methods for pooling server components and creating servers.
