Package Python program with py2exe

1. First download and install the py2exe module:

For: http://www.py2exe.org/old/

Download the corresponding version number for Installation

2. Create a simple Python program and save it as hello. py. Put it in the python installation directory. Here I am D: \ python27

Print "Hello world! "

3. Create the installation file setup. py in the D: \ python27 directory.

Import py2exe

From distutils. Core import setup

Setup (console = ['hello. py'])

4. execute commands

D: \ python27> Python setup. py install

5. execute commands

D: \ python27> Python setup. py py2exe

6. This is a good package. You will find that there is an extra distdirectory in the directory, and the generated hello.exe executable file appears.
