Participants of the fifth cloud computing Conference
1. participation process
This participation in the cloud computing Conference was an accident. Although there were several years of projects related to the education cloud on the education platform, we also see many cloud problems and management and security issues. Indeed, cloud computing can be more accurate, cloud services are indeed a very broad market opportunity.
I did not submit an application when I received an invitation letter from the community or university club due to work hours, on April 9, June 3, the university club suddenly contacted me and said that I would like to invite me to the university club activities after the computing conference on the evening of April 9, June 6. After considering the time, I would like to accept it immediately.
At this time, they asked me if I needed a ticket to the cloud computing conference. I said that I may not be able to go on the 5th and I should be able to go on the 6th, so I took one.
The first day of the cloud computing Conference was an ordinary process, but I saw an introduction about smart driving being done by Academician Li deyi. I am very interested and look forward to attending the Smart City Forum the next day.
2. Participants
During the Conference, many activities may be sponsored by manufacturers. Therefore, in many speeches, we can see a lot of advertisements and self-promotion, many people leave the game and wait for it.
Taking the content described by Academician Li on the first day as an example, the previous section 1/3 is an overview. This part of content may be useful to beginners or those who have not been in touch with it, however, it is useless for people who have experienced in the industry. Of course, a conference cannot only target high-end technologies, but also needs to properly consider the needs of ordinary technical personnel.
However, the history and company introductions from other vendors are meaningless.
For various topics, we all hope to see more current research conditions, achievements, comparison and analysis-these are the top priorities. However, almost all of them are self-introduced by some vendors. In fact, if your company is doing well enough, you will take the initiative to study your company's introduction and content, these things can be seen everywhere on your company's website publicity materials. It is not necessary to waste all the audience time at such a conference, but also reduce your understanding of your company.
As a result, some friends joked that they either make advertisements like advertisements or do advertisements like advertisements. In fact, everyone is more willing to listen to the latter, not the former.
So how do we make advertisements that are not like advertisements?
Most of the people who are invited to the cloud computing Conference are more or less accumulated in the industry. They are not just new students. They should also be from almost all companies, I don't know much about a new graduate student.
Therefore, if you want to establish an industry image for your company, there is only one way: to present your products and technologies to attendees at a certain height.
If you want to attract high-level technical personnel to your company through the Conference, there is only one way: as described above.
For all companies, the fundamental purpose of spending money to attend such a conference is to let products go and gain social influence. However, pure advertisements cannot achieve this effect.
Only by setting up the technical image and product form of your enterprise can you truly achieve the expected results.
If you can't do it, and the product and technology levels cannot reach the lead, you can also present a form of communication at the conference so that participants can interact with you better, only in this way can we establish the company's good customer-friendly image, which is of great value for subsequent product launch and image establishment.
3. Focus on topics and thoughts
During the conference, I paid more attention to the direction of smart cities. After all, I have been conducting research and product accumulation in this direction since the Chinese Emy of sciences came out.
I was very interested in the second half of Academician Li deyi's topic. In this topic, I mentioned that their self-driving cars use GPS satellite navigation and three cameras (on the head of the car ), A self-driving experiment was conducted on the Beijing-Tianjin Expressway. The effect was good. During the one-and-a-half-hour trip, the steering wheel was switched for more than eleven thousand times, with a maximum speed of 140 kilometers/hour, the average speed is over 70 kilometers per hour. Then we enter the description of the traffic conditions in the city and the consideration of self-driving.
At least successfully completed the self-driving process. It is indeed a small and innovative experiment.
However, in the introduction to the PPT, Academician Li lacks many introductions, so that I have a lot of questions.
Later, I mentioned in my microblog: "The high-speed self-driving process from Beijing to Tianjin is more than 100 kilometers and more than 10 thousand times. Do you have any supercars, parallel drills, and other actual driving scenarios, what is the traffic distribution? Have you ever encountered any behavior, such as being parallel or overtaking. I am skeptical about the effectiveness of more than 10 thousand steering wheel operations. Do you want to consider the mechanical hazards of frequent vehicle operations ?"
Just now I calculated that, on average, a 13.36-meter steering operation was performed, and it was impossible for normal human driving to be so frequent. If this operation is taken into consideration, the automatic driving operation will be performed more frequently in the city, and the potential risks of the mechanical structure and problems such as out-of-control operations will have to be considered on the desktop.
In addition, self-driving technology in foreign countries was the earliest in Google, and videos appeared on the Internet more than two years ago, google's self-driving system uses laser transmitters and receiving devices on top of its own car to quickly rotate and obtain the location and distance of the surrounding obstacle in real time, then, the vehicle computer uses the Pattern Recognition Algorithm for matching analysis and calculation to adjust the vehicle speed and travel direction.
In addition, you also need to know whether a car has exclusive or parallel drills, and whether the scenario is too simple. For example, there is no active or parallel vehicle behavior, only the overtaking cars are connected together, and even the two are not connected.
In fact, these introductions will not disclose research secrets. Instead, they will make everyone feel that this material is full, with sufficient arguments, objective experiments, and reliable data.
Except for Academician Li, the other topics in other smart cities were slightly weak, and the Director of Zhejiang University did not speak, the Director of the computing Institute of the Chinese Emy of Sciences in Dongguan's cloud computing center did say some good concepts and concepts, such as wireless cities, Internet of Things, cloud computing, triple play, and geographical architecture of digital cities; the definition of digital city, smart city, and smart city.
The CTO of digital shenzhou.com talked about a lot of history and did talk about it. For example, when talking about the smart city products they are currently using, I discussed this direction with a professor at MIT several months ago. The professor said that you are already the most advanced, and several professors at MIT are doing research in this area.
These words are really empty. Is the research basis the same? Are the input personnel of the same level? Is the research level really the same?
MIT's level of research is the first in the world. Many of the technologies they have studied are technologies that may be put into application after ten years. If Digital China has reached this level, why didn't you see your papers and achievements? Why is Digital China still in such an embarrassing situation in China? Is it because you and Lenovo have published your most advanced things abroad?
However, to be honest, you did some research and development, at least a lot better than the Director of Zhejiang University.
Over the years, even the Security Director of the Public Security System and even the Public Security University once told me that there is almost no photo or video taken by the camera in the current case.
However, if hundreds of billions of cameras have been set up, is it suitable to set up a camera? Are there so many videos being watched or processed by machines? Can anyone see it? How many cameras are behind a machine processing videos?
This reminds me of a case that had just been solved by the Qingdao police more than a month ago. The video was erased and the case needed to be recovered. It contains key information for handling the case!
