The user name password is correct but cannot log into the Linux server this, the most likely to have the following kinds:
1, disk space is full, unable to log on to the Linux server. Restart the server try or delete some unnecessary files.
2, is indeed the password forgotten, into the single-user mode to change the password on the line.
3. Modify the system parameters as required by the documentation when installing Oracle 10G
Vi/etc/pam.d/login
Add the following statement session Required/lib/security/pam_limits.so
If the local user cannot log on to the system, the following resolves:
Put the last line inside the/etc/pam.d/login: "Sessionrequired/lib/security/pam_limits.so"
Change to: sessionrequired/lib64/security/pam_limits.so save reboot just fine
