1. Unplug the power cord from the switch.

2. Press and hold the switch's mode key to plug in the power cord.

3. When "Switch:" appears, release mode switch:

4. After the SWITCH: Execute the "flash_init" command, initialize the Switch:flash_init

5. View the files in Flash. Switch:dir Flash

6. Rename "Config.text" file to "Config.old" file. Switch:rename Flash:config.text Flash:config.old

7. Execute the "boot" command to start the switch

8. Enter privileged mode to view Flash files Switch#show Flash

9. Change the document Config.old to Config.text. Switch:rename Flash:config.old Flash:config.text

10. Put Config.text into the running-config of the system. Switch#copy Flash Config.text System:running-config

11. Add configuration mode to reset the password and the disk.
