Path to modify user profiles in Windows 7

in the Windows 7 The default location for user profiles in C:\Users folder. I recommend that you change the default location of the user profile to another partition after you install the operating system.

Warning before the view changes the registry, back up the registry key values.

1.will beC:\UserfolderCopyto a new location(By default"Default" directoryis hidden,please go toTools > Folder Options > View (tab) > Show Hidden files, folders, and drivers.)or copyUserfolder under thedefaultand thePublicfolder.

2 . Open Registry Editor HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList .

3. Change The path of the default, public, and profile Directory key values to a new location

4 . After logging off, any new users who log on to the system apply the path to the new configuration file

6. When you log in with a new user account ( confirm the new profile path used ) You can delete the profile folder under the previous path

If you move a configuration file that has already been generated, more steps are required. So please do the above steps after installing the system.
