[PB] Do not ask anyone to deal with low-version PB connection to high-version SQL Server

Microsoft SQL Server 2005

Summary: connection through the common interface ODBC

First, enter db profile in PB8.0 ..

Then go to the ODBC Administrator in Utilities under ODB ODBC

Click Add ..

Select the SQL Server at the bottom of the page.

Enter the corresponding information in the dialog box.

After entering the information, click Next.

Enter the corresponding information and click Next. If your login ID and password do not match the IP address of the server you just entered, this step will fail.

Select the database you want to connect to and click Next.

Point complete

 

Click test data source to test the database connection.

The success prompt is as follows. Click OK.

Click OK.

This is OK.

 

In db profile, select odb odbc and click NEW

Then, set Profile Name to DataSource, select the website database you just created, enter the database username and password, and click OK!

Then there is the database connection we just created in odb odbc. Select and click CONNECT.
