Permanently delete MySQL and MySQL
Install the mysql database. In the last step, apply security settings always fail. I feel very depressed. I found a tutorial online. I did the first four steps one by one and found that it was still incorrect. Recently, it was suddenly found that the path in the environment variable has not been uninstalled. Maybe the tutorial I am looking for is win7. The system does not automatically configure the MySQL path, and manual configuration is required. So record it and comfort me to uninstall and install it multiple times.
The correct installation completion interface should be like this. However, I have installed it before and have not been uninstalled. This will easily cause the fourth step to apply security settings to fail. If someone fails in step 2, the installation path may be incorrect, such as Chinese characters or spaces. We recommend that you change the installation directory.
Now let's talk about how to uninstall MySQL correctly.
Take the win10 system as an example.
Step 1: Right-click my computer → select management → select services and applications → double-click Services → stop MySQL background services.
Step 2: press the shortcut key win + X to select the program and function F (or find "Control Panel"> "program and function") and uninstall the MySQL program.
Step 3: delete all files in the MySQL installation directory. Crtl + A → crtl + d
Step 4: open my computer → view → hook up hidden projects. Go to drive C → open ParogramData → Delete MySQL. (Delete the MySQL directory in the hidden directory of the C drive ProgramData .)
Step 5: Right-click my computer → select Properties → select Advanced System settings → select environment variables → double-click path in system environment variables → delete D: \ Program Files (x86) \ MySQL \ bin
All completed.
