Personalize the IE scroll bar with the Dreamweaver plugin

Readers in the Internet must have seen many pages of the scroll bar and other scroll bar, have their own special color and style, refreshing.

Effect description

Light blue Bottom, blue scroll bar, and three-dimensional, you can fully display the personality of the Web page, as shown in Figure 30-1.

Using the Macromedia Extension IE5.5 Custom Scrollbars can easily and conveniently realize IE scroll bar personalization.

Operation Steps

(1) Install the plugin. Click Command in the menu bar | Expand Management, and then bring up the Macromedia Extension Manager dialog box and install the IE5.5 Custom Scrollbars extension, as shown in Figure 30-2.

Note: The Macromedia Extension Manager (Macromedia Extension Manager) is typically installed with Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 20,041, and if the reader is not already installed, please download and install it on the relevant web site.

(2) Set IE scroll bar. After the installation is complete, you can see the IE5.5 Custom Scrollbars button in the "common" insert bar. Click the button to set the color of each part of the IE scroll bar, as shown in Figure 30-3.

(3) Set the text. To display the scroll bar in the page, you can enter text in the page or press ENTER directly into the field. Then switch to the Code window and delete the "HTTP://WWW.W3.ORG/TR/HTML4/LOOSE.DTD" text in the document type definition, as shown in Figure 30-4.

Tip: If the reader does not have the IE5.5 Custom Scrollbars plugin installed or does not want to use an extension, you can enter the code directly in the Code window. The specific code can refer to the code in the source code of this example Web page, just change the color code and copy it to another Web page.

(4) Save the paging file, and then open the file in the browser to preview, this example operation completed. A wide range of plug-ins, powerful, through plug-ins can achieve Dreamweaver function.
