1. Open a close-up image of the face in Photoshop.

2. Copy the layer and change the layer mode to linear dodge.

3. Copy the layer to make the effect stronger.

4. Select three layers and press Ctrl+e to merge the layers.

5. Use the eraser tool to erase the extra parts of the face.
