Starting photon in 5 minutes starts photon is extremely easy to install and start in five minutes. the SDK provided des ready-to-use binaries which can be up and running within 5 minutes. photon is very easy to install and start. The SDK contains available binary files, which can be started to run download within five minutes.

Choose fitting binaries select the assembled binary file unzip the files anywhere on your machine. locate the "deploy" folder and choose the fitting binaries for your system: extract the package to any location on your machine, find the deploy folder, and select the appropriate binary file
- Bin_win32: 32 bit Windows Vista and up
- Bin_win32_xp: 32 bit Windows XP or 2003
- Bin_win64: 64 bit Windows Vista and up
- Bin_win64_xp: 64 bit Windows XP or 2003
The deploy folder of the SDK contains everything you need to run photon. other content of the SDK includes documentation (/DOC), libraries (/LIB) and source (/src-server ). the deploy folder contains all the items for running photon, as well as Doc, Lib, Src-server photon control run photon using the photoncontrol.exe. this will create a tray bar-icon and-menu to manage photon. run photon with photoncontrol.exe to create a tray icon and menu management photon click the white/BL UE icon and select "photon"-> "start as application" from the menu. Now you have started photon! Click the tray and select "photon"-> "start as application". Now you have started photon it might take several seconds until photon is ready to use, depending on the applications it is running. it takes only a few seconds for photon to use when you don't have a license file yet it will run with a 20 CCU limitation. if you do not have a license file, you can run 20 CCU starting the test client to test the client. The server SDK has des a test client to simulate multiple clients and to generate some load. you can start it from the photon control tray bar-menu: "photon"-> "run test client ". the server SDK contains a test client used to simulate multiple clients and generate some loads, you can choose "photon"-> "Run test client" to test the test client is a simple console application which will simulate client sessions and games with a few players each. this client is a simple Console Program Used to simulate sessions of multiple clients and the game license the license needs to be placed in the same directory from where you start the photon control. make sure that there is only one ". license "file in that directory. the license must be placed in the directory where you start photon control and make sure there is a ". the license file is in the directory.
