1, easy to get started with the photo change sketch

And the method introduced here, although to go through many steps, but will get amazing results. First prepare a photo of the person. Now the mobile phone is very convenient to take pictures, looking for a good angle, for their own photo of a beautiful close-up can be. For simplicity, replace it with a star picture (Figure 1).

Open this photo in Photoshop (for example, in the CS5 version). In order to facilitate a quick recovery when the effect is not good, open the picture after you can copy the background layer, directly drag the background layer onto the new layer button below to let go. Next in the copy of the new layer "background copy" in the operation, click the menu command "image → adjust → go color", the image of this layer into black and white map. The same method copies the black and white Layer two times, with the background copy 2 and background copy 3 layers (Figure 2).

Select "Background copy 3" Layer, click menu command "image → adjust → reverse" to get a negative feeling of the image. Then on the layers panel, set the layer's mode to "color Dodge." At this time will find a blank screen, do not worry, continue to execute the "filter → Blur → Gaussian blur" menu command on this layer, the fuzzy radius set to about 10 pixels, can be adjusted according to the actual effect, the initial effect is completed (Figure 3).

If you want to adjust the shadow details in the screen, you can use the Dodge tool or the burn tool to apply fine tuning. Next, set the layer mode of background copy 2 to color, set the layer mode of background copy to dimmed, and adjust its layer transparency to around 70 (depending on the effect). So the "painting" of a Sketch effect is complete (fig. 4).

Click on the Black triangle button at the top right of the manager from the pop-up list can see just copied the brush, after the selection, and will pop up dialog box, ask if it replaces the original brush, or append to the back of the original brush, generally choose "Append" Can (Figure 5). 7, a more complex operation, can be assembled through the brush elements, such as hair, facial features, clothing and other elements, combined into a character, it is more to draw a sense of achievement.
