Photoshop creates a frozen demon effect

Step 1 First Solution background map

Open sky Pictures and dock pictures, drag them to the new picture, name the 2 layers with "sky" and "Dock", and dock layers above the sky layer.

Add a layer mask to the dock layer (the 3rd button at the bottom of the layers panel), use the Brush tool (B), select the soft pen, and the foreground color is black. Make sure that the mask and the dock layer are associated so that the paint element is missing.

You can use a small brush around the horizon to carefully rub, to ensure a more realistic melting diagram, so that your effect can be close to the figure below.

Step 2 Second Add demon

Open the Demon god body picture, drag into the picture, named "Body", now open the image of the head, use the box selector (M) to select the head area, use the Move tool (V), drag the head draw element to the picture, named "Head." Press ctrl+t, free deformation of the head, moderate rotation, so that it looks closer to the neck of the demon body, if you rotate to a satisfactory position, you can press ENTER.

Now we need to fuse the header footage, add a layer mask to the head layer, and use a black brush to erase the elements you want to hide, so that part of the face is visible and covered in the ice element that is added later. In the same way, hide the eye part because we need to reveal the feeling of the sky covering.

Open the skull and choose the material that has the hole, you can pick the material that you think fit, then drag them into the picture and place them in the eyes of the character, instead of the eyes.

Create a new layer, use the Brush tool (B), select the dark green color to draw a 2 pupil of the drawing element, complete this step, you can complete the following picture:

Step 3 Third Steps add ice

In this step, we need to add some ice to the head and hands of the character. Open the ice elements of the picture, select---color range, set the color tolerance 170, color range of 1 billion very practical tools, you can choose similar colors.

After you set the tolerance, click OK, so the tool has been selected, press CTRL + C, copy, press CTRL + V paste into our picture, press ctrl+t, the picture free deformation, adjust the appropriate size, about 1/4, change the layer mode for strong light ( You can find the layer mode at the top of the coating panel.

Add a layer mask to the ice layer, use the Brush tool (B), use the abstract stylus brush (2 floor not available, you can find a similar).

Now set the foreground color to black and use a brush to draw off the paint you want to hide, and in this process you need to keep the size and opacity of the horizontal brush in order to effectively achieve the effect.

Now we need to do the same thing with the head and give it ice. On the ice picture selection color tolerance, copied to the picture, change their size, layer mode strong light, add layer mask, use the brush to remove some of the paint element. You will get the following effect.

Step 4 fourth to draw shadows on the head

So far the head is flat and it looks unreal, and in this step I will add some light and shadow to blend in.

Create a new layer, fill in the gray (#808080), change the layer mode to overlay, now use the Dodge tool and the burn tool, you may occasionally to draw out the effect of undo and modify, if the shadow effect on the head is not good, later may not be able to carry out other painting element fusion.

Step 5 Fifth Add an hourglass

Open the picture of the hourglass, and pull out the hourglass of the drawing element, drag into our picture, use the Freeform tool to change its size, and moderately rotate to a certain angle, let it feel caught in the hands of the characters, add a layer mask, select a small circle brush, change the opacity of the brush, Use Black to start erasing some of the paint elements that need to be removed so that it is embedded in your hand.

Now we're going to add moving motion. Copy the hourglass layer, put it under the hourglass image, use the filter-blur-motion blur, set the distance to 12, click OK.

Now another is to add a shadow, under the dynamic layer, create a new layer, fill the color #808080, change the layer mode to overlay, select a round of the soft pen, choose just the color, opacity 200%, around the hourglass painting shadow, under the hand.

Step 6 Sixth add splash of water

In this step, we will add splash of water around the demon, and in this precious step we need to use the Color range tool.

If you've seen the effect of lightning in a storm, you can see the lightning is pretty in the clouds, now we know what needs to be done, create new layers again, fill in gray, Layer mode overlay, select round soft pen, opacity 10%, draw clouds on the image, so that the surrounding lightning looks brighter.

I also painted some low-flying birds on the left and right of the devil in the picture, and the details are entirely up to you, and you can add other details.

Step 9 nineth Steps Local adjustment

Some parts of the demon's face need to be brighter, and the part of the hourglass needs a stronger contrast, and we'll do the fusion in this step.

Select the layer on the demon's face to add the color adjustment.

Set the color level adjustment layer, enter 0; 1,64;255, click OK, you can add a quick mask, modify the effect of adjusting the face.

Now select the hourglass layer, add the gradient adjustment, enter 26; 1, 34; 215. Click OK and create a quick mask to adjust it.

Step 10 Tenth to add a hazy feeling

To create a fantasy-like effect chart, I need some hazy transitions. Create a new layer, select the Gradient tool (G), press ALT, select a light color, add you can see the effect of the following image, (in the wizard), in order to make the effect of disguise more clearly, I chose red, so you know how to do.

Step 12 12th Add graph effect

Step 14 Sharpening of the 14th

Sharpening is our final step, select the Box Selection tool (M), choose the entire map, edit---Merge layers, and copy once.

Now select the filter--other--high contrast retention with a radius of 4 and a layer pattern superimposed so that you will see the following diagram effect.
