Photoshop draws a very gorgeous color beam

The brilliant beam looks complex, but it is also composed of some simple small beams. Before making, we need to carefully analyze, simplify the complex things, find each small beam, and then gradually finish it.

1, create a new 1024 * 768 pixel document, background filled with black, the following figure.

2, the beam is segmented to make, first to make the first paragraph. Create a new group, draw the outline of the beam with a pen, and then add a layer mask to the group, as shown below.

3. Create a new layer in the group, use pen to tick the high light selection at the top of the beam, feather 10 pixels and fill orange yellow: #FFC000, layer opacity to: 76%, the following figure.

4, create a new layer, with a pen to check out the beam at the bottom of the high-light selection, feather 8 pixels after pulling the linear gradient shown in Figure 5, the effect of the following figure.
