This lesson briefly describes the composition and kind of the Photoshop floating panel. The use of various floating panels tips and methods. We will explain the specific use in the future.
★. Composition of Floating panel:
Floating panel is a very important auxiliary tool in Photoshop, it provides a variety of auxiliary functions for graphic image processing. The following is the name of the floating panel:

Second: Information Panel
The Info floating Panel provides color information for the location of the mouse and coordinates values for x and Y. If you choose a different tool, you can also get information such as size, distance and rotation angle through the information floating panel, as shown in the figure.
First Color information: the option that is selected after the pattern is the actual color. That is, if the open image is in RGB mode, the value of RGB is displayed in the first set of data, and the CMYK values are displayed in the first set of data if the open image is in CMYK mode. You can also change the default mode by using the pop-up menu behind the pattern.
The second color information: The option is CMYK after the pattern, in addition to the pop-up menu after the mode to choose a different mode.
Mouse Coordinates: in the box below, there is a ruler unit, followed by several pop-up options, where centimeters are most commonly used.
Three: Palette panel
The color palette is primarily used to change the foreground and background colors of the image, as shown in the upper-left corner of the floating window has two color blocks that represent the foreground and background colors, and the same in the toolbox.
There are 3 ways to adjust the foreground or background color in the color panel:
In the color floating panel, move the cursor below the color stick such as R, G, B (image corresponding to RGB mode).
Click a color in the color bar below the floating panel to select a foreground or background color.
Enter a value for the foreground or background color in the text box in the floating panel.
The Color Options menu provides 4 modes of color bars in the color options panel, RGB, CMYK, gray, and current colors.

Five: Style panel
The style panel is primarily designed to specify patterns for drawing images, and the use of the style panel is actually a quick application of layer style effects that can be used to quickly implement layer effects.
Photoshop provides a rich style sample database, through the style Panel cascading menu commands to achieve the style of database loading, storage, presets and other operations. In the Photoshop installation directory of the preset style subdirectory, provides a lot of style sample database file *.asl, which has a richer style sample, in the production of stereo buttons and other effects can be directly used.
VI: Historical records panel
The history Panel is a tool panel that Photoshop uses to record the steps of the operation and help you recover to the state of any step in the operation.
Seven: Action panel
The action panel can record the actions you have made, and then do the same for any other image that requires the same operation, or you can put a batch of images that need to be processed in a single folder.
Several commands form an action. For example, to perform a series of filters to generate a special effect, this series of filters can constitute an action, a number of actions may constitute an action set, the purpose of the action set is to better manage the different actions, the action panel as shown in the figure.
Seven: Tool presets Panel
Similar to the menu bar contents of the style panel, the tool presets panel is primarily for tool parameters in the toolbox, and can be reset, loaded, saved, and substituted for these tool parameters.
When the operation of a tool first set the relevant parameters before the operation, in order to do the same operation next time to set tool parameters convenient, you can save the tool options for this operation, the next time you use the tool, want to do the same operation, direct call can be.
Click the black arrow at the top right of the tool presets Panel to open the menu shown in the picture. The contents of the tool options can be set in this cascading menu.
Eight: Layers Panel (see Layer menu in detail)
The layers panel is useful for image processing because it is in a transparent layer, like graphics software, that can change the position of a part of an image and its relationship to other parts. That is, you can edit a part of the image without affecting the rest of the image in the slightest.
As long as memory allows, many layers can be added. If the layer is empty and there is no image, the background can be seen through all layers, that is, the part of the layer that has no image is completely transparent. The transparent area consists of a small square with a gray-grey alternating.
Nine: Channel panel
In Photoshop, the channel has two uses: one is to store the color information of the image, and the other is to store the selection range. When a new file is created, the color information channel is automatically established. The number of color information channels is determined by the selected color mode, for example, all RGB-mode images have a default 3 color channels: Red channel (reddish) store red information, green channel to store green information, blue channel to store blue information The CMYK mode images have 4 color channels: Cyan Channel (cyan), PINKCO Channel (magenta), yellow channel (yellow) and black channel, which store information for printing 4 colors, and gray-scale mode images have only one black channel.
Nine: the Path panel
The path panel is used to store paths, with a predefined view of the paths in the panel. The path tool is useful for selecting objects and can form arbitrary selections. The basic style of the path panel is shown in the figure.
The bottom of the diameter panel is a row of small icons that fill the path with the foreground color, stroke the path with the brush, load the path as a selection, generate a work path from the selection, create a new path, and delete the current path.
The path panel and path tools are generally used together, and the details about this section are explained in detail in the following path chapters.
Nine: Character panel and paragraph panel
The character Panel feature is designed to accommodate the powerful text editing features of Photoshop, and the paragraph panel is a two-bound tool for text editing, and the character panel sets a variety of individual text formats, while the paragraph panel sets the paragraph or the relative formatting between text and text.
