Photoshop font Effect--three-dimensional calligraphy in this case, we will make a color with the background color of the font, the main commands used are: Gaussian Blur; Emboss; levels; Apply Image; Feather; Brightness/contrast command.
1 Execute the File>open command and open a background file.
2 with the mouse click on the Channels Control Panel in the upper-right corner of the triangle, in the pop-up Drop-down menu, select the new Channels command, ready to create another ALPHA1 channel. Then click the Horizontal Text tool in the Toolbox to enter text in the new file.
The 3 copy ALPHA1 channel becomes the ALPHA2 channel, makes the ALPHA2 channel the current channel, and then cancels the selection.
4 Execute Filter>blur>gaussian Blur command, prepare the text to make the blur effect.
5 in the Gaussian Blur dialog box, set the radius:8.0 pixels, confirm and press OK button.
6 Execute the Filter>stylize>emboss command to prepare the embossed effect on the text.

7 in the Emboss dialog box, set the angle:-45; Height:9pixels; amlunt:110%, confirm and press OK button.
8 Execute the select>load selection command to load the selection of the ALPHA1 channel.
9 in the Load Selection dialog box, set the CHANNEL:ALPHA1, and select the invert item, according to the default value, confirm and press OK button.
10 Click the Eyedropper tool in the toolbox with your mouse, hold down the ALT key, click on the gray image of the screen with the eyedropper tool, make the extracted gray a background color, and press the DELETE key to fill the selected range with gray.

11 Execute the image>adjust>levels command, the system adjusts the intensity of the text tones.
12 in the Levels dialog box, set the input Levels:51,1.00,213;output levels:0,255, the rest according to the default value, confirm and press OK button.
13 returns the RGB mixed color state.
14 executes the image>apply image command, ready to create a new effect on the text.
15 in the Apply Image dialog box, set CHANNEL:ALPHA2; Blending:hard Light, the rest according to the default value, confirm and press OK button.
16 Execute the select>load selection command to load the selection of the ALPHA1 channel.
17 in the Load Selection dialog box, set the CHANNEL:ALPHA1, the rest according to the default value, confirm and press OK button.

18 after loading the ALPHA1 channel, execute the edit>copy command and copy the selection.
19 return to the Layers Control Panel, select New Layer command in the layer's Pull-down menu, and prepare to create a layer of Layer1.
After the Layer1 layer is built, execute the edit>paste command to paste the copy on the pasteboard into the Layer1 layer.
21 after the previous step, you will see a copy of the font on the Layer1 layer, ctrl+u turn on tonal adjustment, select Color, tune to their favorite color. Then, click the background layer with the mouse to make it the current layer.
22 Set the background color to your favorite color, and then fill it.
23 Execute the select>load selection command to load the selection of the ALPHA1 channel.
24 executes the Select>feather command, preparing to feather the edges of the text.
25 in the Feather Selection dialog box, set the feather radius:5 pixels, confirm and press OK button.
26 after the previous step is performed, hold down the Ctrl+alt key on the keyboard and use the Move tool to drag the selection to the lower right.
27 Execute the Image>adjust>brightness/contrast command to adjust the tone saturation and brightness values of the text.
28 in the Brightness/contrast dialog box, set the brightness:-35; contrast:-20, confirm and press OK button.
