Operation Process
STEP01 get yellow body
Train of thought: to replace the yellow body with red, first of all must get yellow body part, because the other parts of the body color is not able to be modified, using the path is a good method.
Use the Pen tool to check out the yellow body range, note to slightly check out the yellow range (such as enlarged image), in order to ensure that all the yellow can be changed to red, if the edge of the color palette accidentally exposed a piece of yellow out, that can be embarrassing, do not forget three headlights also to hook-they do not need to change colour;
Ctrl-click the path to change the selection, with Ctrl+j copy as a separate layer, complete the removal of the body's work.
STEP02 General Palette
The body layer for the general color palette: Use the Ctrl+u key to enter hue/saturation command, Hue set to-36, saturation set to 15.
STEP03 Layer Palette
Train of thought: At this point, if only to change the color part of a simple red fill, will feel the colour is inflexible, the figure needs is with the light changes red, so need to find the body yellow change channel, and to fill the red.
Copy File menu: Image > Copy, in the new file, the "car" layer to remove all layers, and the color to the CMYK color menu: image > Mode >cmyk color, choose its yellow (Y) channel, which is the yellow performance of a more complete channel;
Ctrl-click the channel to select the selection, and note that you want to reverse the selection at this point, ctrl+shift+i whether the filled image is reversed, create a new layer, and then fill the red (R200 G0 B0);
Select all layers Ctrl + A, and copy Ctrl + C, back to the original working file, paste Ctrl + V, the yellow body path to the selection of the layer plus mask;
Set as the color mode, copy this layer, set the color deepening mode, fill 10%, so that the color is fuller, at this time to observe the image, the color of the high light is not rich enough, need a high light part of the complete channel, fill white to improve;
The results show that the magenta (M) channel in the original CMYK mode shows better performance in the high light region, and chooses the channel in the copied file.
Also Ctrl-click the channel into a selection, this time do not need to reverse selection, new layer fill white;
All Select Ctrl + A, and copy Ctrl + C, back to the original working file, paste Ctrl + V, the yellow body path to the selection of the layer add mask;
Set for the soft light mode to highlight high light, copy this layer, set the color Dodge mode, fill 6%, strengthen the high light, complete the work;
Contrast two color effects, simple conventional regulation in the purity and saturation of colors appeared difficult to solve the problem, and added the layer color after the full, even a lot.
